General Questions

Where are you located?

We are based in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico. We operate throughout the Riviera Maya region, giving us access to the world's most spectacular cenotes and the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.

What languages do you speak?

Our instructors and guides are fluent in English and Spanish. We can also arrange instruction in other languages upon request with advance notice.

Do you provide equipment?

Yes, we provide all necessary diving equipment for our tours and courses. All equipment is maintained to the highest standards and regularly serviced. You're also welcome to use your own equipment if you prefer.

How do I book a dive or course?

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3-5 days in advance, especially during high season (November-April). For courses, we suggest booking 1-2 weeks ahead to ensure instructor availability and proper preparation time.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Full refund: 7+ days before
  • 50% refund: 3-6 days before
  • No refund: Less than 48 hours

Diving Requirements

What certification do I need for cenote diving?

For standard cenote (cavern) dives, you need an Open Water certification with basic diving experience. Some advanced cenotes require Advanced Open Water. Cave diving requires specific Cave Diver certification.

Do I need a medical clearance?

If you have any medical conditions, you'll need to complete a medical questionnaire. Certain conditions require a doctor's clearance. We take safety very seriously and will guide you through any medical requirements.

What's the minimum age for diving?

For Open Water courses: 10 years old (Junior certification)
For cenote diving: 12 years old minimum
For cave diving courses: 18 years old minimum

Equipment & Safety

What equipment is provided?

We provide all necessary equipment including:

  • Regulators and BCDs
  • Wetsuits (3mm or 5mm)
  • Tanks (aluminum or steel)
  • Lights for cenote/cave dives
  • Weights and weight belts

What is your instructor-to-student ratio?

We maintain small ratios for safety and quality instruction:
- Cenote tours: Maximum 4 divers per guide
- Training courses: Maximum 4 students per instructor
- Private instruction available upon request

What safety measures do you have in place?

Safety is our top priority. We follow strict protocols including pre-dive briefings, buddy checks, emergency oxygen on-site, first aid kits, and 24/7 emergency response plans. All our guides and instructors are certified rescue divers with extensive cave diving experience.

Payments & Refunds

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash (USD or MXN), bank transfers, and major credit/debit cards. Payment details will be provided when you confirm your booking.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, we require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your dive/course. Full payment is recommended for courses to secure your spot.

What if weather causes a cancellation?

If we need to cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, you'll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. Your safety is our priority, and we never compromise on this.
