Cave diving equipment configuration sidemount

CAVE DIVING TRAINING

From Intro to Cave to Full Cave certification. Master the art of overhead environment diving with rigorous technical standards.

Prerequisites

What you need before entering the dark zone.

Cave diving is the pinnacle of technical diving skill. It demands perfect buoyancy, trim, and propulsion. Before enrolling, we assess your in-water comfort and equipment configuration.

IANTD Courses

Our curriculum is designed to build your skills progressively. We don't fast-track; we train for competence and survival.

These three levels can be taken independently or as a complete progression from Cavern Diver up to Cave or Technical Cave Diver.

Cavern Diving light zone

Cavern Diver

The entry point. Learn line protocols, reel use, and emergency procedures while staying within the light zone.

  • 4 Days / 8 Dives
  • Max 60m penetration
  • Daylight zone only

Intro to cave diving

Intro to Cave

Go beyond the light. This course introduces single mainline penetration, gas management (1/6th rule), and lost line drills.

  • 3 Days / 6 Dives
  • Beyond light zone
  • Single continuous line

Technical Cave diving deep

Cave or Technical Cave Diver

Advanced overhead training. Choose between complex navigation mastery or extending range with stage bottles and decompression.

  • 4-5 Days / 8-10 Dives
  • Complex Nav / Decompression
  • Technical configuration

Cave Diver

The 'Full Cave' certification represents the mastery of complex navigation within the overhead environment. This level moves beyond the single continuous line, authorizing you to navigate jumps, gaps, T-intersections, and traverses. You will learn to safely explore the intricate web of the cave system away from the main tunnel using backmount or sidemount configuration, focusing on precise gas planning for complex circuits without the use of stage cylinders.

Course Format

  • Duration: 4 Days
  • Dives: Min. 8 Dives
  • Navigation: Complex (Jumps/Circuits)
  • Configuration: Sidemount or Doubles
Price per Day $300 USD

*Includes all gases, logistics and certification.
